Follow Conchita Wurst dipping into a time when it was not common for men to wear women’s clothes – except in some of the very few safe places and even this was highly dangerous. But they did it anyway. We’ve come a long way and we are more or less free to dress however we want – BUT there is still so much that we as a society have to work on. We wanted to bring that fearlessness into the present through Marion Ida’s GOTHICA images inspired by daring men of the 1900s.
